United E-Motor launches New MX1200 Lithium electric motorcycle

PT Terang Dunia Internusa Tbk (UNTD) has launched the New MX1200 Lithium electric motorcycle through United E-Motor. The new model features a 72V 26Ah lithium battery and a 2,200W motor, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 65 km/h and a range of 75 km on a single charge. The battery supports direct charging via 220V AC, with a 0 to 80 percent charge time of approximately 2.5 hours. The vehicle weighs roughly 77.1 kg, designed for urban mobility.

Regarding the electric vehicle market in 2026, battery replacement costs vary significantly based on type and capacity. Replacement batteries can range from approximately Rp1 million to over Rp10 million. For economic models using SLA (dry) batteries, such as a 60V 20Ah setup, replacement costs are estimated between Rp2 million and Rp3.5 million, while a 72V 20Ah setup may cost between Rp2 million and Rp4 million.
