United Hospitality Management appoints Maxine Leal as Regional HR Manager for Europe

United Hospitality Management (UHM) has appointed Maxine Leal as its new Regional HR Manager for Europe. Leal, who has been part of the UIP Group since 2021, previously served as the Regional Talent Acquisition Manager in Portugal.

In her previous role, Leal led recruitment strategies during key growth periods, including the opening of the Hyatt Regency Lisboa. She was also responsible for identifying executive talent and strengthening executive committees (EXCOM) across UHM’s European portfolio. Her experience extends across the UIP Group’s real estate and construction and development sectors.

In her new capacity, Leal will oversee human resources across the European region and manage ‘Somos Mais’, the UIP Group’s social impact project focused on local community engagement. Leal holds a degree in Psychology and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Strategic Human Resources at Universidade Europeia.
