United Internet appoints André Driesen as new CFO

United Internet AG has announced a leadership transition in its finance department. André Driesen will take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective November 1, 2026.

He succeeds Carsten Theurer, who has decided to leave the company at his own request when his contract expires on December 31, 2026. The company has implemented a staggered transition period to ensure continuity in financial management, budgeting, and capital allocation.

CEO Ralph Dommermuth and the Supervisory Board expressed regret over Theurer’s departure, noting his significant role in developing the group’s finance organization and corporate governance. Upon leaving his role at United Internet, Theurer will remain connected to the group as a member of the Supervisory Board of IONOS Group SE.
