United Kingdom ministers' mobile numbers leaked online

Personal mobile phone numbers for at least three members of the British government were leaked online, raising significant security concerns regarding high-ranking officials. The exposed numbers belong to Defense Secretary Wes Streeting, Justice Secretary Alex Norris, and Minister for Northern Ireland Chris Bryant.

The leak follows a separate security incident involving British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who was targeted by an impersonation scam. In that instance, an unknown individual posed as Susie Wills, the Chief of Staff to U.S. President Donald Trump. While authorities reported that no sensitive information was exchanged during those communications, the incident prompted the British Embassy in Washington to notify the White House.

Officials have worked to remove the leaked data from the internet. Defense Secretary Wes Streeting has noted that all government-related business is conducted via official devices. The British government has declined to comment on specific security or intelligence details regarding the breach.
