United Kingdom weather forecast predicts warmth and rain

The United Kingdom is expected to experience a period of unsettled weather, alternating between warmth and rain. Forecasters predict a mix of conditions across different regions throughout the weekend.

In the south-east, including areas like Essex, Kent, and East Sussex, temperatures are expected to reach between 23°C and 27°C. While Friday may begin with damp conditions and rain in some areas, Saturday is forecast to be largely dry with sunny spells. However, weather conditions are expected to deteriorate by Sunday, bringing increased wind speeds and rain.

In contrast, northern regions including Scotland, Northern Ireland, and parts of northern England are facing more significant rainfall and cooler temperatures. Northwest Scotland may see rainfall rates up to 7mm per hour. While much of the country may enjoy a reprieve on Saturday, heavy rain and powerful winds are anticipated to move into northern areas by Sunday.
