United Nations announces upcoming environmental expert meetings

The United Nations is hosting several upcoming environmental expert meetings and webinars focused on multilateral environmental agreements.

A webinar scheduled for September 8, 2026, will address mainstreaming biodiversity into the agricultural sector to support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Additionally, an expert meeting regarding the Stockholm Convention is set to take place from October 12 to 14, 2026, in Bratislava, Slovakia. This meeting will focus on Best Available Techniques and Best Environmental Practices related to chemicals and waste management.
