United Nations Subcommittee visits Paraguay to monitor torture prevention

The United Nations Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture is conducting a working agenda in Paraguay from October 25 to November 3. Working alongside the National Preventive Mechanism (MNP), the international delegation will meet with national commissioners and conduct joint visits to places of detention.

The mission aims to evaluate the country's progress and challenges regarding the prevention of torture and ill-treatment, as well as its compliance with international recommendations.
