United Nigeria Airlines crew member commended for professionalism

Uche Francisca Ogbuagu, a cabin crew member for United Nigeria Airlines, has been commended for her professionalism during a flight involving an unruly passenger.

In a formal letter dated August 11, 2026, Dr. Everest Okpara, Chairman of Everight Diagnostic Ltd, praised Ogbuagu for maintaining composure and restraint when a passenger became extremely rude regarding the adherence to aviation rules. Dr. Okpara noted that Ogbuagu remained calm, respectful, and focused on her responsibilities and airline policy without allowing the passenger's conduct to compromise her service quality.

He observed that her ability to manage the difficult interaction with emotional intelligence and maturity impressed nearby passengers and serves as a positive representation of the airline.
