United Russia, the ruling party of President Vladimir Putin, is leading the Russian State Duma elections. According to preliminary results from the Central Election Commission, the party holds a significant advantage. With approximately 13.88% of the ballots counted, United Russia has recorded 57.54% of the vote.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation follows in second place with 13.67%. Other participating parties include the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) and the New People party. Preliminary projections suggest United Russia could secure approximately 331 of the 450 available seats in the State Duma.

Voter turnout has reached a record high, reported at nearly 57%. The election process included voting in four Ukrainian territories annexed by Russia, a move not recognized internationally. Ukrainian authorities have labeled the voting in these occupied territories as illegal.

The election took place amid reports of cyberattacks and drone strikes. Russian officials noted that Ukraine deployed over 1,000 drones to target Moscow and other regions during the election period, though they maintained that the voting process remained stable.
