The Kremlin-aligned United Russia party has secured a dominant three-quarters majority in the Russian State Duma. According to the central election commission, the party won 349 of the 450 available seats.

Vladimir Putin framed the parliamentary election as a referendum on his ongoing military campaign in Ukraine. Election official Ella Pamfilowa noted that 46 of the newly elected deputies had previously served as combatants in the conflict. While the ruling party expanded its influence, the anti-war Jabloko party was excluded from the national vote.

Other parties entering the Duma include the Communist Party with 37 seats and the Liberal Democratic Party with 23 seats. Despite the official results, independent experts have raised concerns regarding potential electoral fraud and unfair conditions for government critics.
