United Soccer Coaches Announces College Team Academic Award Winners

United Soccer Coaches released the list of 2025‑26 College Team Academic Award winners, recognizing 777 men’s and women’s soccer programs that posted a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. A total of 175 schools had both their men’s and women’s teams honored.

Union College in Kansas City, Missouri, was among the schools highlighted. Both the men’s and women’s soccer squads earned the award, with the women’s team posting a cumulative GPA of 3.60 under head coach Karen Perron and the men’s team achieving a 3.20 GPA under first‑year head coach John Ciano. The dual recognition places Union College among a select group of 175 NCAA institutions to receive the honor for both genders in the same year.
