United States and 16 nations endorse Kyoto Vision for Super Intelligence

The United States and 16 other nations have endorsed the Kyoto Vision for a Golden Age of Science. The initiative, announced at the 23rd annual meeting of the Science and Technology in Society Forum in Kyoto, Japan, aims to leverage Super Intelligence (SI) to accelerate scientific discovery and expand access to advanced computing.

Led by Michael Kratsios, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the declaration focuses on three primary pillars: transforming scientific institutions, harnessing Super Intelligence for research, and cultivating scientific talent. To support these goals, participating countries have expressed support for diverse funding models, including rapid grants, long-duration awards, prizes, and challenges.

India was not included in the list of endorsing nations. The initiative aligns with efforts to reshape the U.S. scientific research landscape around artificial intelligence and new institutional models for autonomous experimentation.
