United States announces $302 million military grant to Albania

The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has announced a $302 million direct grant to Albania through the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program. The agreement is intended to support the modernization of the Albanian Armed Forces.

Albanian Minister of Defense Ermal Nufi described the funding as a confirmation of U.S. trust in Albania and its strategic alliance. He noted that the investment aims to enhance Albania's defense capabilities and its ability to contribute to collective NATO security.
