United States commemorates 250th anniversary with cultural exhibits and trust updates

In observance of the United States' 250th anniversary, various organizations are hosting commemorative activities. The U.S. Botanic Garden is presenting an exhibit titled ‘America's State Flowers,’ which showcases the official flowers of U.S. states and territories through botanical illustrations, living plants, and herbarium specimens.

Simultaneously, the Jacob Hunter Trust has announced updates regarding its research and upkeep of Hunter family cemeteries. To address financial challenges caused by a decline in annual donations, the Trust is establishing an Endowment Fund to ensure the long-term support of its mission to memorialize early immigrant ancestors.
