United States opposes Israeli annexation of the West Bank

The United States Department of State has clarified that President Donald Trump does not support Israel's potential annexation of the West Bank. This statement follows the Israeli government's decision to issue tenders for the construction of 1,234 new settlement units within the E1 project area, located east of Jerusalem.
