United States to end Daylight Saving Time on November 1, 2026
Daylight Saving Time in the United States is scheduled to end on Sunday, November 1, 2026. At 2:00 a.m. local time, clocks will be set back one hour to 1:00 a.m., marking the transition to Standard Time.
While most of the country will observe this change, several areas do not participate in seasonal time adjustments. Hawaii and most of Arizona maintain Standard Time year-round. Additionally, U.S. territories including Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa do not change their clocks.
The Navajo Nation within Arizona does observe Daylight Saving Time. Although legislative proposals for permanent Daylight Saving Time have been discussed, current federal rules remain in effect.
