United States tops 2025 new millionaire rankings as salary‑saving tips gain attention

Financial adviser Juan Gebhardt explains that salaried workers can become millionaires through disciplined saving, consistent investing and a long‑term “millionaire mindset,” noting that wealth is built by retaining assets and limiting liabilities rather than relying on a high income.

Data from the UBS Global Wealth Report, visualised by Visual Capitalist, shows the United States created 441,078 new millionaires in 2025—the most by far—followed by the United Kingdom with 43,139. Six of the top‑10 countries are in Europe, including France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Russia. Eastern Europe posted the strongest percentage growth, led by Lithuania’s 8 % increase in its millionaire population.
