During the United Nations General Assembly, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla denounced the United States' economic and energy blockade, describing it as an “act of war” and “collective punishment” that has caused severe humanitarian crises, including fuel shortages and the detention of over 7,000 containers of food and medicine in foreign ports.

Rodríguez Parrilla emphasized that Havana remains open to bilateral dialogue based on sovereign equality and without preconditions.
