United Therapeutics shares change hands among institutional investors

Bank of Nova Scotia cut its United Therapeutics (NASDAQ: UTHR) stake by 53.3% in the first quarter, holding 2,730 shares valued at about $1.6 million after selling 3,114 shares. Around the same time, Talon Private Wealth LLC opened a new position, purchasing 5,123 United Therapeutics shares worth roughly $3.0 million.

Other institutional investors also adjusted their holdings: Royal Bank of Canada increased its stake, Elmind Capital LP and Eversept Partners LP expanded positions, while several firms added modest new stakes. United Therapeutics CFO James Edgemond sold 10,000 shares for $5.8 million, part of broader insider sales totaling over $285 million in the past three months.
