United Way of Central Minnesota seeks volunteers for Days of Caring

The United Way of Central Minnesota is organizing its annual ‘Days of Caring’ from Monday, September 21, through Friday, September 25. The event involves nearly 50 agencies and over 100 different projects.

Mary Krippner, Director of Volunteer Engagement, reported that approximately 450 volunteers have signed up so far, but more participants are needed. Available projects include construction with Habitat for Humanity, activities with the Boys & Girls Clubs, cleaning the Great River Children's Museum, and assisting with the Sartell Lights Festival.

Options for volunteers range from outdoor gardening at St. Cloud State to indoor activities such as making cards and tying blankets. The organization is seeking help from individuals, businesses, civic groups, and church organizations.
