United Wholesale Mortgage launches ChatUWM mobile app with AI voice assistant

United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) has launched ChatUWM, a mobile application featuring an AI voice assistant designed for mortgage brokers and loan originators. The app replaces the company’s previous InTouch mobile platform.

Through the new voice interface, brokers can verbally query their pipelines for specific information, such as loan status, mortgage guidelines, and rate locks expiring within a certain timeframe. This mobile expansion follows a recent update to the ChatUWM platform, which transitioned from a simple chatbot into a broader AI workspace capable of analyzing documents and summarizing pipeline actions.

Existing users of the InTouch app can access the new ChatUWM features by updating their current application rather than downloading a separate tool.
