Unity & Justice Fund and CAIR-linked groups target U.S. elections

Reports indicate that Islamic-linked organizations are mobilizing significant financial resources to influence American elections. The Unity & Justice Fund, a super PAC established by CAIR Action, has been involved in supporting several candidates, including Zohran Mamdani, Adam Hamawy, and Abdul El-Sayed. The PAC has stated its goal is to build a movement within mosques and communities across the country.

There are claims that organizers are advancing a plan to utilize up to $140 million annually in donations, including zakat (charitable tithing), to back Muslim and Islamic-friendly candidates. This movement aims to empower Muslim communities and support politicians who align with specific policy stances, such as opposition to Israel. While CAIR has distanced itself from the Unity & Justice Fund, the fund was established by CAIR Action, the lobbying arm of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
