Univar Solutions partners with CABB Group for North American glycolic acid distribution

Univar Solutions has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with CABB Group to expand the availability of glycolic acid in the North American beauty and personal care markets. This agreement extends the distribution of CABB Group’s glycolic acid products, including GLYCOS® Clear 70, from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region to the United States and Canada.

Glycolic acid is a widely used ingredient in cosmetic and skincare formulations due to its exfoliating properties and its ability to improve skin texture, tone, and radiance. The partnership aims to accelerate formulation innovation by providing customers with access to high-performance, high-purity active ingredients.

CABB Group, a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) and fine chemicals provider, noted that its glycolic acid is produced using renewable energy, highlighting a commitment to sustainability. Univar Solutions intends to use this partnership to strengthen its specialty ingredients portfolio and support growth in the personal care sector.
