Universal Epic Universe attracts four million visits in debut year

Universal Epic Universe has recorded an estimated four million visits during its first partial year of operation, according to the 2025 TEA Global Experience Index. Since its opening on May 22, 2025, the park has become a major driver for Central Florida’s theme park industry, contributing to a 4.3% increase in combined attendance at the region’s leading parks.

In response to this growth, Comcast co-president and executive Mike Cavanagh indicated during a third-quarter 2026 financial presentation that Universal is preparing new promotional packages. These may include new annual pass modalities that could grant access to three parks, potentially including Epic Universe. Currently, Epic Universe remains excluded from traditional annual passes, requiring visitors to purchase separate admission.

Despite operating for only part of 2025, Epic Universe secured the thirteenth position among the most visited theme parks in North America. The expansion has increased Universal Orlando Resort’s portfolio from two destinations to three, enhancing its competitive position in the international tourism market.
