Universal Hall construction in Skopje expected to finish by 2028

North Macedonia’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Sedat Sulejmani, recently inspected the construction site of the Universal Hall in Skopje to review the project's progress. According to the Ministry, works are proceeding according to the planned schedule.

To date, completed tasks include basement excavations, column construction, and activities for structural protection. Current efforts are focused on the processing and assembly of steel elements. The project involves Megaron Engineering, the supervisory body EOS E. E Consulting, and the contractor Universal Balkan.

The new Universal Hall is designed to maintain its original appearance while providing a capacity of 1,200 seats. While some targets aim for completion by the end of 2027, current projections suggest the facility will be ready for use in 2028.
