Universal opens pop-up Christmas store in Pérez Zeledón

Universal is opening a 2,000 m² pop-up store in San Isidro de El General, Pérez Zeledón, on Friday, October 23. This expansion is part of the company’s centennial celebrations, marking its second of three major openings outside the Greater Metropolitan Area.

The new location aims to provide the full “Official Christmas Store” experience to the Southern Zone, reducing the need for local families to travel to San José. The pop-up store will remain open for six months and is expected to create 50 new jobs in the region.

As part of its centennial tour, Universal previously opened a location in San Ramón on October 10 and plans to open another in San Carlos on Saturday, October 24. The Pérez Zeledón launch will include a tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
