Universal Orlando adjusts park hours and undergoes entrance construction

Universal Orlando Resort is implementing significant operational changes and undergoing construction at its Florida parks. During the Halloween Horror Nights season, Universal Studios Florida routinely closes at 5:00 p.m. to prepare for the separately ticketed nighttime event. This has led to shortened hours at neighboring parks; Islands of Adventure is scheduled to close at 8:00 p.m. on most September dates, with an early closure at 6:00 p.m. on September 23. Epic Universe is also scheduled to close at 8:00 p.m. most nights during the month.

Additionally, the iconic entrance archways of Universal Studios Florida are currently obscured by scaffolding and large white scrims due to ongoing construction work. While the signage remains visible, the structure is heavily covered, marking a significant visual change for visitors approaching the park from CityWalk.
