Universal Orlando announces new horror show featuring Blumhouse

Universal Orlando Resort has announced a reimagined attraction titled ‘Universal Horror Make-Up Show featuring Blumhouse’. The production will partner with Blumhouse, the studio behind several prominent modern horror films, to explore over 100 years of Hollywood horror special effects. The show is intended to span from Universal’s classic monsters to contemporary horror cinema.

Creative leader Michael Aiello described the project as a ‘visual reimagining from floor to ceiling’ that will retain the original attraction's blend of horror and humor while introducing new surprises. While the show was previously announced to be closing for updates, an official debut date has not yet been released.
