Universal Orlando announces reopening dates for major attractions

Universal Orlando Resort has announced the return of several major attractions following extended closures throughout 2026. Jurassic Park River Adventure at Islands of Adventure is scheduled to reopen on November 20, 2026, after being closed for refurbishment since January.

Other experiences at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are expected to return between late fall and winter 2026, though specific dates for some remain unconfirmed. These closures coincide with a period of significant change for the resort, including the permanent closure of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and Fast & Furious – Supercharged to make way for new attractions like Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, which is slated for a 2027 debut.
