Universal Orlando adds new haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights 35 and expands Volcano Bay Nights schedule

Universal Orlando Resort announced two new original haunted houses for the 35th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights, running Aug. 28–Nov. 1, 2026. The new attractions are MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, set in a defunct zoo populated by warring cannibal factions, and Cybergoria, a frozen, machine‑ruled future where guests are promised a quest for immortality. The resort also confirmed the return of the original horror host H.R. Bloodengutz in the house titled “H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright‑Tacular!” alongside other announced houses such as Jack & Oddfellow and the “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares” theme.

In addition, Universal expanded the lineup for its after‑hours water‑park event Volcano Bay Nights. The 2026 schedule now includes additional dates through Aug. 21, giving guests more opportunities to experience the nighttime beach party. Tickets remain priced at $99 per person, with perks such as exclusive ride access, a live DJ, character meet‑and‑greets, and complimentary drinks.
