Theme parks announce major 2026 Halloween horror attractions

Major theme parks are launching expansive horror-themed events for the 2026 season. Universal Orlando Resort is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida. The event features 10 new haunted houses, including tie-ins to 'Stranger Things 5', 'Hellraiser', 'Evil Dead', and an Ozzy Osbourne tribute, alongside original stories like 'Sinners' and 'Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control'.

SeaWorld Orlando has also unveiled its 2026 Howl-O-Scream lineup, which includes five haunted houses, notably the park's first movie-inspired attraction based on 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.

In Europe, Movie Park Germany has announced a new flagship attraction for its 2026 Halloween Horror Festival. The park will host a dedicated 'Jason Universe' haunted maze featuring Jason Voorhees, marking an international expansion for Horror, Inc.'s franchise.
