Universal Orlando Resort Extends 2026 Holiday Season to 51 Days

Universal Orlando Resort announced that its 2026 holiday celebration will run from November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027, lasting 51 days—six days longer than the previous year. The season adds Christmas décor to two new areas of Universal Epic Universe, including Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, while continuing decorations in Celestial Park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Ministry of Magic. Seasonal offerings such as Grinchmas in Seuss Landing, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter across all three parks, and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s balloons and floats are included with regular park admission.

Universal’s on‑site hotels will offer discounts of up to 30% for stays of five nights or more, and a promotion provides two free days with the purchase of a three‑day ticket, encouraging longer vacations.

In addition, the resort has begun installing solar‑powered trash cans with compacting technology around CityWalk, using rooftop panels to power the units and reduce waste collection frequency. The bins feature foot‑pedal operation and decorative decals that blend with the CityWalk aesthetic.
