Universal Orlando Resort's Jurassic Park River Adventure Nears November Reopening

Universal Orlando Resort has been refurbishing its Jurassic Park River Adventure water ride for more than seven months. Aerial photographs taken in August 2026 show the attraction emerging from construction walls, with new vegetation returning after winter damage and several signature dinosaur animatronics undergoing major upgrades.

The project includes stripping the iconic Ultrasaur to its internal framework for mechanical replacements and refreshing the nearby Stegosaurus figures. Although work continues on indoor show elements, the visible progress signals that the ride is on track for its scheduled reopening in November 2026.
