Other Mommy horror film releases new trailer and poster

Universal Pictures has released new trailers and promotional posters for the upcoming supernatural horror film ‘Other Mommy’. Directed by Rob Savage and produced by James Wan via Blumhouse Atomic Monster, the film is based on the New York Times bestselling novel ‘Incidents Around the House’ by Josh Malerman.

The story follows eight-year-old Bela, played by Arabella Olivia Clark, who encounters a sinister entity emerging from her closet. The entity, which Bela calls ‘Other Mommy’, bears an uncanny resemblance to her own mother. Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain stars in a dual role as both the child’s mother and the manifestation of the entity. The supporting cast includes Jay Duplass, Dichen Lachman, Arian Moayed, and Karen Allen.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on October 9, 2026, in the United States. In Brazil, release dates have been noted for October 8 and October 29, 2026.
