Universal Studios announces 2026 Halloween horror attractions

Universal Studios has announced several major attractions and updates for its 2026 Halloween Horror Nights season. A central feature is the ‘Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness’ haunted house, which will debut at Universal Orlando Resort on August 28 and Universal Studios Hollywood on September 3. The attraction celebrates the heavy metal legend’s four-decade career, featuring scenes inspired by albums such as ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ and ‘Diary of a Madman.’ The experience includes themed zones like a ‘Crazy Train’ ride and a gothic cathedral setting.

In Japan, Universal Studios Japan is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights and its own 25th anniversary. The 2026 season includes the debut of a ‘Zombie Bar’ and themed food collaborations with franchises like ‘Chainsaw Man’ and ‘Resident Evil’ (Biohazard).

Additionally, Universal Orlando has reportedly adjusted its Premium Scream Night offerings, removing the ‘Stay & Scream’ early access feature for the 2026 season, a change that impacts the value of tickets priced above $400.
