Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that the long-running live animal show, Animal Actors On Location!, will permanently close at Universal Studios Florida on November 2, 2026. The closure marks the end of a 36-year run for the attraction, which originally opened on June 7, 1990, as the Animal Actors Stage.

As one of only three remaining attractions from the park’s opening day, the show’s departure represents a significant change to the original lineup. The attraction has undergone several name changes over the decades, including a period as Animal Planet Live starting in 2001.

Universal stated that the space will be used for a future experience, though specific details regarding the replacement have not yet been disclosed. The company also noted that they will work with show vendors to ensure all animals are properly relocated and receive continued care.
