Universal Studios Japan announces 2026-2027 winter holiday event

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has announced its winter seasonal event, ‘Universal Holiday Wonders ~Discover U!!!~’, which will run from November 13, 2026, to January 17, 2027. Celebrating the park's 25th anniversary, the event features the largest scale ‘Universal Food Festival’ to date, expanding dining options across all park areas.

Specialized holiday menus will feature popular characters including Snoopy, Hello Kitty, Elmo, Minions, and Mario. Notable offerings include character-themed plates at Studio Stars Restaurant, such as Snoopy’s mushroom cream sauce meatball plate and Hello Kitty’s truffle-scented chicken pie. In Super Nintendo World, guests can find themed items like the ‘Red Shell Calzone’, while the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will offer a ‘Holiday Feast’ featuring roast chicken with traditional British gravy and cranberry sauce.

To facilitate dining, the park is offering ‘Holiday Food Passports’ starting October 14, 2026, which provide meal vouchers for a set price. The event also includes character meet-and-greets, such as Elmo appearing in holiday attire at Studio Stars Restaurant.
