Universal Studios Japan announces Myaku-Myaku and Hami-Kuma collaboration

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has announced a special collaboration between Myaku-Myaku, the official mascot of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, and Hami-Kuma, a popular character from the park’s Halloween Horror Nights. The collaboration is part of the “1st Anniversary EXPO 2025 – That Surprise and Emotion Once More @ Come to Osaka! EXPO Beat Jam” memorial event scheduled for October 13, 2026.

To celebrate, USJ will release limited-edition food and merchandise. On October 13, a special “Myaku-Myaku Man” with takoyaki flavor will be available for one day only, requiring a numbered ticket for purchase. On October 14, a “Myaku-Myaku & Hami-Kuma Chocolate & Mixed Berry Sundae” will be introduced. Merchandise includes mascot keychains featuring red and checkered designs, as well as hologram sticker sets, all set to go on sale starting October 13.

The memorial event at Gramacy Park will feature performances by various artists, including Atarashii Gakko!, Kobukuro, and SIS, alongside appearances by the official Expo characters.
