Universal Studios Japan launches 2026 Halloween Horror Night

Universal Studios Japan has launched its 2026 Halloween Horror Night event, marking the 15th anniversary of the seasonal celebration and the 25th anniversary of the park. The event features a record number of “street zombies” and several new attractions.

A major highlight is the debut of “Zanzou,” the park’s first R-18 rated attraction, which requires guests to sign a waiver due to its intense psychological horror elements. Additionally, the “Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive” attraction offers an immersive experience based on the video game franchise.

For the first time, the park has introduced a “Zombie Bar” at the Wharf Cafe. This themed bar features staff dressed as zombies who interact with guests while serving themed cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks inspired by past event characters. Other seasonal offerings include themed sweets such as “Zombie Banana Ice” and “Hamicuma Chocolate Sundae.”
