Universal Studios Japan launches Resident Evil horror attraction

Capcom and Universal Studios Japan have announced the launch of a new collaboration attraction, ‘Resident Evil Requiem: The Dive’, starting September 11, 2026. The attraction runs through December 27, 2026, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series and the 25th anniversary of Universal Studios Japan.

Set in the abandoned Renwood Hotel near Raccoon City, the R-15 rated horror maze follows the disappearance of FBI analyst Grace during an investigation into a series of mysterious deaths. Participants enter the hotel to search for her, facing creatures that attack from all directions, including the ceiling and floor.

Additionally, the park will host its 15th annual ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ from September 11 to November 8, 2026. This event will feature street experiences, psychological horror, and collaborations with various popular anime and film properties.
