Universal Studios to Debut Ozzy Osbourne Haunted House for Halloween Horror Nights 2026
Universal Studios announced a new Halloween Horror Nights attraction titled “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness.” The haunted house will open at Universal Orlando Resort on August 28, 2026 and at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 3, 2026, running on selected nights through November 1, 2026. It is a tribute to the late heavy‑metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025 at age 76, and is described as a “living horror movie” that spans 45 years of his solo career. The experience incorporates music such as “Crazy Train” and visual motifs from albums like *Blizzard of Ozz*, *Diary of a Madman* and *Bark at the Moon*. Sharon and Jack Osbourne issued a joint statement praising the tribute, and John Murdy, executive producer of Halloween Horror Nights, said the house honors Ozzy’s cultural impact and is inspired by all of his albums. Two separate houses will be built—one in Orlando and one in Hollywood—each offering a distinct version of the themed haunted experience.
