Universidad Americana launches third University Football Cup

The Universidad Americana (UAM) has inaugurated the third edition of the UAM–TOTTO University Football Cup in Managua, Nicaragua. The tournament features teams from eight higher education institutions across the country.

Participating universities include UNIAV, UNI, UNICA, Keiser University, UNIVALLE, UCYT, UCEM, and the host, Jaguares UAM. As part of the opening ceremonies, teams officially received their uniforms provided by the brand Totto.

Félix Palacios Bragg, President of the UAM Board of Directors, stated that the sports project aims to incentivize new football talent to grow both on the field and academically. The competition is designed to promote discipline, teamwork, and integration among students while complementing their academic training through sports.
