Universidad APEC forms historic academic alliance with India's KIIT

Universidad APEC (Unapec) has established a historic academic alliance with the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in India. This agreement marks the first time a Dominican university has signed a formal partnership with an Indian institution.

The strategic cooperation aims to foster internationalization through student and faculty exchange programs, bilateral research projects, and joint academic initiatives. These efforts are designed to facilitate knowledge transfer and provide new international experiences for students, teachers, and researchers from both nations.

During an official visit to Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Unapec Rector Erik Pérez Vega was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by KIIT. The award recognizes his professional trajectory and leadership in both academic and business sectors.
