Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas launches English courses for children

The Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas (UNACH) has launched the ‘English for Young Learners’ program through Saturday English courses at the Facultad de Lenguas Tuxtla. The initiative is designed for children between the ages of 9 and 13.

University Rector Oswaldo Chacón Rojas visited the facilities to support the students, noting that learning a foreign language strengthens academic training and personal development. The program consists of six levels, each lasting 100 semester hours. Upon completion, students are expected to reach a B2 proficiency level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
