Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua hosts environmental and art exhibitions
The Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH) has inaugurated two distinct exhibitions at its cultural venues.
In collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union in Mexico, the university launched a photographic exhibition titled “Unión Europea: hacia un futuro verde e inclusivo.” The showcase highlights environmental initiatives and sustainability experiences. UACH Rector Luis Alfonso Rivera Campos emphasized the importance of internationalizing higher education through multilateral links. Kevin O’Connell, representing the EU Delegation, indicated plans for future cooperation programs with UACH focused on sustainability. The exhibition is being presented simultaneously in two formats: printed photographs at the Centro Cultural Universitario Quinta Gameros and a 3D digital tour at the Poliforum Cultural de Rectoría.
Additionally, the university opened “Lo que nos debemos unos a otros,” an exhibition by artist Anahí H. Galaviz at the Paraninfo Universitario. The project utilizes drawing, painting, and editorial media to explore emotional, spiritual, and symbolic human connections. Galaviz’s work examines themes of love, affinity, and the nature of contemporary social interaction through a symbolic lens.
