Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez announces UACJ Canta 2026 finalists

The Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) has announced the results of the first selection stage for the UACJ Canta 2026 competition. Organized by the General Directorate of Cultural Diffusion and Scientific Dissemination, the contest aims to discover and promote vocal talent within the university community.

Following a period of registration and virtual auditions, a specialized jury evaluated participants based on technical and interpretive criteria, including pitch, rhythm, voice projection, expression, and stage presence. Selected students from the Institute of Architecture, Design, and Art (IADA) and the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) will now advance to the in-person stage of the competition.
