Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila hosts conference on success and resilience

The Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila (UAdeC) hosted the conference ‘Sin Manual: Ten Fe la vas a Necesitar’ (Without a Manual: You Are Going to Need Faith) at the Emilio J. Talamás Seminar Room. The event, organized through the General Coordination of University Extension, featured alumnus David Boone de la Garza as the keynote speaker.

During the session, UAdeC Rector Octavio Pimentel Martínez highlighted Boone de la Garza’s journey, noting the discipline and sacrifice required to build a career while living away from his home city. Boone de la Garza shared reflections on the meaning of success, arguing that it should not be defined solely by professional achievements or economic goals, but must be supported by principles, habits, and an integral life purpose. He also discussed overcoming economic hardships and personal obstacles through individual determination.
