Tamaulipas implements new educational and professional development initiatives

Various administrative and social developments are occurring across Tamaulipas and Sinaloa. In Tamaulipas, the Secretary of Education (SET) announced that high school students may use mobile phones strictly for pedagogical purposes, while the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) reported over ten thousand free international certifications through its micro-credentialing program.

Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya has engaged with search collectives for missing persons, receiving recognition for his openness to dialogue. Additionally, the state is investing 1.2 million pesos to professionalize tourism services and is considering a legislative proposal to train truck drivers to address a national labor shortage.
