Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas to host anniversary horse ride

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT), led by Rector Dámaso Anaya Alvarado, has announced a commemorative horse ride to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics (FMVZ) ‘Dr. Norberto Treviño Zapata’.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, starting from the faculty's facilities. Registration for participants, including equestrian associations, ranchers, and independent riders, begins at 8:00 AM, with the procession set to depart at 10:00 AM.

The celebration aims to honor the institution's roots and its nearly seven decades of contribution to the agricultural and livestock development of Tamaulipas, while fostering community ties through regional traditions.
