Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México launches women's art exhibition

Rector Martha Patricia Zarza Delgado inaugurated the exhibition “Todo lo que no se nombra arde – Cartografías para perdernos juntas” at the Museo Universitario Leopoldo Flores in Toluca. The show, created by the collective Ellas Cortan, features 42 collage, assemblage and found‑object pieces that explore women’s memories, identity and collective experience.

The exhibition is part of the 19th “Arte Abierto, Arte para Todos” call, one of three projects selected, and will remain open to the public until 18 September. University officials highlighted the event as evidence of UAEMéx’s commitment to using art and culture to foster critical thinking, social awareness and citizenship among students and the wider community.
